Ginataang Bilo-bilo
Ingredients:
2 cans coconut milk (chaokoh)
1/2 cup sago (small ones), boil separately
2 1/2 cups mochiko/rice powder (bilo-bilo balls)
1 1/4 cup water
sweet potato (ube), diced
1 banana (optional)
1 can langka, in strips
3/4 - 1 cup white sugar
2 cups warm water
anise, optional
1. Combine 1 can coconut milk and 2 cups warm water and bring to a boil.
2. Add sweet potato (ube) and cooked until half cooked.
3. Add sago, bilo-bilo, banana and sugar.
4. Add the langka and anise.
5. Put 1 can coconut milk and bring to a boil, stirring occassionally.
6. Simmer 4 to 5 minutes.
