Bittermelon with blackbean sauce
Ingredients:
1 pack Catfish fillet (sliced into chunks, put salt and covered with cornstarch)
2 pcs. bittermelon, blanched for 3 minutes
ginger and onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp fermented black bean (wash and soaked)
3 tsp soysauce
2 tsp sugar
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1. Wash and slice bittermelon, simmer for about 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. In a pan, fry the marinated catfish fillet.
3. In a pan, put 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, saute ginger, onion and fermented black beans.
4. Add the bitter melon and fish. Put 1/s tsp. of sugar and 1 tbsp soy sauce.
5. Add oyster sauce and simmer for 3 minutes.
6. Serve with rice.
